It has 3, 42,239 Km2 area and capital of Rajasthan is Jaipur which is known as a "Pink city" and "East's Paris". Rajasthan is a land of Kings or Raja. The word Rajasthan derived from two words Raja + Sthan which mean the land of king / King Abode/place where the king resides. Rivers & Lakes

LUNI and CHAMBAL are the two main rivers of RAJASTHAN and rest of the rivers are seasonal. Hill Station

Mount Abu is only the hill station in entire Rajasthan situated in the range of ARAVALI HILL, Guru Shikhar is the highest peak there and this place is famous for Jain temple. Aravali Hills is the oldest folded hills in India and any well-known cities of Rajasthan are bounded by Aravali ranges such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Baadmer, Chittorgarh, Udaipur.
