Day 01: Delhi – Mandi (Approx. Travel Time 10 Hrs)

Evening board the AC Volvo bus to Mandi.

Day 02: Mandi

Arrive at Volvo bus stand at Mandi: Gateway to Kullu-Manali, almost in the centre of Himachal, lying along the left bank of the river Beas in the foot hills of medium sied Shivalik ranges, Mandi at a height of 760 metres entails a rich heritage  of culture of both historical and theological significance. Known for its temples, Mandi is the home of a number of beautifully carved stone edifices each with an elaborate Shikhara, or spire, among them Bhutnath, Triloknath, Panchvaktra and Shyamakoli at Tarna hill famous for Tarna temple dedicated to Tarna Devi overlooking the valley and giving a panoramic view of the whole area. Day 03: Mandi – Prashar Lake – Mandi (Approx. Travel Time 03 Hrs)

Morning breakfast at leisurely pace, proceed for day excursion to Prashar Lake: Situated at a distance of 40 km from Mandi and it is perfect site for experiencing pure nature and spiritual bliss. This place is urrounded by lush green land, verdant hills and clear blue water of the lake, one can witness a pagoda style three tiered temple by the lake. Later drive back to Mandi. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Mandi – Rewalsar Lake– Mandi (Approx. Travel Time 02 Hrs)

Morning breakfast at leisurely pace, proceed for day excursion to Rewalsar Lake; It is about 25 km from Mandi and famous for its floating islands of reed. It is maintained that all seven of them can be moved by prayer or breeze. Here are three shrines-a Buddhist monastery, where elaborate rituals are performed, a Sikh Gurudwara and a Hindu temple. The lake is held sacred to all three communities. Afternoon visit Nyigngampa buddhist monastery, Rewalsar lake and Naina devi temple. Later drive back to Mandi.

Day 05: Mandi – Janjehli (Approx. Travel Time 05 Hrs)

Morning breakfast at leisurely pace, later check out from hotel and travel to Janjehli; Being the highest peak of Mandi District it is also called Crown of Mandi. It is the only place which strikes our mind when it comes to heavenly spot away from the disturbance of regular crowds. Wide green pastures, bewitching sunrise and sunset view, enticing view of snow ranges make this place favourite to nature lovers. The place receives a lot of snow during winters. As Janjheli Valley is unknown to most of the tourists, it remains untouched, unexplored throughout the year, which results in creating a blissful environment. So, how about getting yourself to this hidden paradise. It is also known as paradise for hikers offering treks up to a height of 3300 meters in the midst of thick forest. While travelling from Mandi to Janjheli, you will come across the Keolidhar Valley, Bagsaid Valley and Bhim Shila. All these locations are breathtakingly beautiful. However, Bhim Shila is a massive stone, which cannot be moved by both hands except that of your smallest finger! Try it if you happen to be there. On arrival check in at the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel / homestay.

Day 06: Janjehli

Morning breakfast at leisurely pace. Later proceed to full day excursion to Shikari Devi Temple and Maa Baglamukhi Temple. Morning head to Maa Baglamukhi Temple; nestled amidst dense forest and it is located approx. 02 Kms away from the main road. This temple is very unique in terms of architecture work. Thereafter drive continuously to Shikari Devi temple; it is a roofless temple and located 20 km away from the town. During winter season, whole surrounding is covered with snow but there is no snow spotted in the temple area. From parking one has to climb some 500 plus steps to reach the temple. This temple is established by Pandavas. It is said that sage Markanday also meditated at this place for number of years. Later drive to hotel. Stay overnight at hotel / Homestay.


Day 07: Janjehli – Manali (Approx. Travel Time 06 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast travel to Manali; enjoy the scenic ride and breathtaking beauty of this hill station. The town is covered by high mountains surrounded by silent snow and deep boulder strews gorges. The Beas River rushes along its rocky course amid grassy meadows carpeted with wild flowers and wagtails hop along from stone to stone along the stream’s edge. There are beautiful flower lit green pastures very picturesque, and fruit laden orchards to charm you. Stay two nights in Manali.

Day 08: Manali

After breakfast go for an excursion to Rohtang Pass(Closed on Tuesday) for panoramic view of Mighty Himalayas and glaciers covering it. Later return back to hotel and proceed to visit Hidimba Devi Temple or Dhungri Temple which is one of the most important temples in the region. Conclude with Manu Temple Manali visit which is named after the sage Manu who meditated when he came in this area. Tibetans have a base in Manali too. There is a large modern Tibetan temple to the South of the bus stand and also a small handicrafts center to be explored. Stay overnight in Manali

Day 09: Manali – Delhi (550 Km /12 Hrs) Overnight Journey

Morning breakfast at leisurely pace, Later check out from hotel and transfer to bus stand to board the bus to Delhi.
