Day 01: NJP / Bagdogra - Darjeeling (90 Km / 03 Hrs)
Upon your arrival at the New Jalpaiguri railway station or Bagdogra airport, our representative will be waiting for your pick up. Thereafter we will then drive for the Queen of Hills – Darjeeling; The Queen of the Himalayas perched at an altitude of 2134 meters is said to be named after a Tibetan word Dorje ling or place of a thunderbolt. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Darjeeling
Early morning leave for one of the most mesmerizing sunrise views over the mountain you would have ever had. Tiger Hill for the mesmerizing sunrise view of the Himalayan Mountains. After the wonderful view, visit Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute(Closed on Thursdays)and Everest Museum. Also, visit the Tibetan Self-Help Centre Or Refugee Centre(Closed on Sundays) This institute is run by Tibetan Refugees to preserve their handicrafts and one can see the making of Tibetan Carpets, Leatherwork, Paintings, and Wooden work, etc. Stay overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 03: Darjeeling – Pelling (115 Km / 05 Hrs)
The morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and travel to Pelling; it is a beautiful town and second biggest tourist destination in Sikkim after Gangtok. This journey takes you through the curved road cutting across the hills and villages. On the way, take a halt to have a magnificent view of the confluence of the Tista River and Rangit River. Further, continue to drive to Pelling. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Pelling
The morning after breakfast proceeds to visit Khechipalri Lake: which is a sacred pilgrimage site, considered holy by both Buddhist and Hindu. Next visit to Rambi Falls & Kanchenjunga Falls; another one of beautiful places to visit in Pelling, is more than just a treat to the eyes. The glimmering waterfall turns into Rimbi River, which is most frequented by tourists for various activities like swimming and fishing, After that visit to Pemayangste Monastery; this three-storied aesthetic structure dates back to the 17th century and is among the most important places to visit in Pelling. Conclude your day with a visit to Rabtense Ruins: It is walkable distance from Pemayangtse Monastery, surrounded by thick woods and lakes, is where you’ll find Rabdentse Ruins – a popular tourist attraction in Pelling. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Pelling – Gangtok (120 Km / 05 Hrs)
Spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon we will leave for Gangtok; Meaning High Hill is a charming hill resort situated on a ridge at a height of 5400 ft. It is the capital and largest town of Sikkim. It affords magnificent views of the snow-clad Kanchenjunga peak and has a bracing climate attracting a large number of tourists round the year. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel, you will be transferred to a hotel. Unwind yourself and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Gangtok including Rumtek Monastery is the awe-inspiring Rumtek Monastery, the world dharma chakra center and the seat of His Holiness, the Gyalwa Karmapa, who is the head of the Kagyupa order of Tibetan Buddhism. Next visit to Enchey Monastery. Stop at the Institute of Tibetology; the fantastic museum housed in a traditional Tibetan-style mansion boasts a jaw-dropping collection of artifacts related to Vajrayana Buddhism and Tibetan culture. Also, visit the Chorten Stupa - A famous Buddhist religious monument with a golden dome top that is visible from many places around Gangtok. Stay overnight in Gangtok. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Gangtok
In time breakfast at the hotel. Start your day to explore the Gangtok with a visit to Tsongmo Lake (12,210 ft) and Baba Mandir, about a 40 km drive from the city. This lake is located very close to Nathu La Pass, which is the entry point to China termed as the “Silk Route” and remains frozen for most parts of the year. Next visit to nearly sacred Baba Mandir, which is highly acknowledged for its spiritual worth. Conclude your day with a visit to the Nathu La Pass, which is the border between India and China. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Gangtok – NJP / Bagdogra (125 Km / 04 hrs)
In the morning after having breakfast, In time leave for NJP or Bagdogra for onward destinations.
